Thomas Banks, owner and chef, brings New Orleans style home cooking directly to you. He was born in Hammond, LA. He moved to New Orleans as a teenager, where he developed his swag and lit nature. As an adult, he discovered his love for cooking and wanting to put a smile on everyone's face. He watched both his mother and father cook which sparked his passion for cooking. Traveling to Georgia, Texas, and Colorado; he would find different people who shared his passion for cooking and offered tips and recipes to him. He then settled to HTX in 2000. He fell in love with the culture and vibes that he wanted to bring his Louisiana style here. Happy Heat Streets was created in 2023 to serve the Houston and surrounding areas.
